Tara darling, We had you from 6weeks old & we just loved you to its. You were mummy & daddy's baby girl, although you were definately a daddy's gbirl. Wherever your daddy went we would find you. You could spell your favourite words like walk & out. You absolutley loved going in the car to the water where you would swim away quite happily for ages, then shake your wet coat over everyone. You loved playing ball with a stone or playing with a stick. You also loved to tear up a cardboard box & play with your squeeks. Your favourite time at home was when your sister Trudy came to visit you & you both played away happily outside & you loved going walks with her. You also loved going to visit her at her house. You often took yourself for a walk & menny a time we have spent hours looking for you & when you finally came home you had a lovely smile on your face although you got a row for going away. Mummy & daddy were so upset & sad when you finally left this world to be with your sister & lots of your other friends that you new in this world, we cried buckets for days after your parting, but we no now that your presence is here in the house as we often hear you. Mummy & daddy will never forget you baby girl (or Tara pup as we called you) & you will always be deep in our hearts & thoughts. We will always always love you & never ever forget you darling. Rest In Peace darling. Love you always Mummy & daddy xxxxxxxxxx

Paw-prints in the sands of time,
Tracks along an empty beach,
Towards a fate which is not mine,
A destiny out of my reach.
You've gone where I will some day follow,
But for now you're out of sight,
Your years with me was time just borrowed,
Before you returned to heaven's light.
No longer in my sight, you vanished,
Through the veil of time and space,
In my memory you are cherished,
Ambassador of canine race.
Time and tides sweep clean your paw-marks,
Another's paws will tread anew,
But you carved paw-prints in my own heart,
Eternal love-prints, etched by you.
One day I'll see your paw-prints glowing,
Sparkling in the morning dew,
Guiding me at my time of going,
Leading me sunwards, back to you.

I know my time has ended,

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see;

All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,

While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,

A letter from your pet in heaven

To my dearest family,
some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know,
that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from the Bridge.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here there's no more tears of sadness.
Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
They'll be here later on."
God gave me a list of things,
that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night
the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you...
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth,
and all those loving years,
because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry:
it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there were some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you,
you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain,
though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now,
than I ever was before.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it
by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world,
the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night...
"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented...
that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along
I made somebody smile.
God says: "If you meet somebody
who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up,
as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street
with me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind."
"And when it's time for you to go...
from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going...
you're coming here to me."
I miss you every day, my friend
No one will know how much
Your ever lasting love for me
No human love can touch.
You never doubted me, my friend
Nor cared about my mood
